DailyReels Privacy Policy

  • Effective date: October 9, 2026
  • Last updated: October 26, 2026
  • Version: 1.0

The short version

  • We collect what we need to sign you in, make your videos, and bill you.
  • Your ideas, photos, and scripts go to AI companies that make your clips, images, voice, and music. They get your content. We don't send them your name or email address.
  • We don't sell your personal information. If you come to DailyReels from one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, we tell Meta when you create an account or buy something, so we can see which ads work (section 5.3). You can opt out. No ad company's tracking code runs on our pages. We count visits with our host Vercel's cookie-free visitor counter (section 2.3).
  • DailyReels never trains AI models on your content. One of our AI providers, fal, may use anonymized or combined data from our requests to build its own products and AI models (section 4.3).
  • Your library is private. DailyReels doesn't post anything for you and has no public gallery.
  • You can delete clips, projects, ideas, and uploaded photos in the app, and your whole account from your account page.
  • DailyReels is for adults (18 and older) in the United States.

This summary is here to help. The full policy below is what counts.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

DailyReels is run by DailyReels LLC, an Idaho limited liability company ("DailyReels," "we," "us," or "our"). Our mailing address is 784 S Clearwater Loop, Ste R, Post Falls, ID 83854.

This policy explains how we handle personal information when you:

  • visit dailyreels.ai; and
  • use the DailyReels studio to make reels.

Together, we call these the "Service."

This policy does not cover other companies' sites and apps, even when we link to them. That includes Stripe's checkout and billing pages, Google's and Facebook's sign-in pages, and the social apps where you post your videos. Their own privacy policies apply there.

Our Terms of Service explain the rules for using DailyReels.

"Personal information" means information that identifies you or could reasonably be linked to you.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

Account information. Your email address, and the date of birth and home state you give us at sign-up to confirm you're an adult in the United States. You sign in with your email and a password, with Google, or with Facebook. Your password is stored scrambled by our sign-in provider, Supabase, and nobody at DailyReels can see it. If you use Google or Facebook, that company shares your email address and basic profile (your name, profile picture, and an account ID) with Supabase. DailyReels itself uses only your email address and your account ID.

We use information from your Google or Facebook account only to sign you in. We don't use it for ads or to train AI models, and we don't sell it.

What you create with. These are the things you give the studio to work with:

  • words you type, such as idea directions, clip descriptions, VoiceOver scripts (the words the AI voice reads), music descriptions, and notes for your post;
  • reference photos you add to a clip or an image. Before a photo leaves your device, your browser makes a smaller copy of it. Hidden photo details, such as where the photo was taken, are not sent. We check the photo automatically (section 3), then send it to our AI provider to make your clip or image, and we keep the smaller copy privately in your library so you can reuse it. You can delete it there at any time (section 7);
  • the choices you make, such as the AI model, clip length, voice, caption style, music, and volume levels;
  • saved voices: a short sound sample (up to 10 seconds) of an AI voice, either cut from the AI voice in one of your own DailyReels clips (Save this voice) or generated from a description you type (Generate a voice; a synthetic voice, not a real person's). We keep it in your library and send it to the AI model that speaks in that voice when you choose it for a clip or a voiceover. You can't upload voice recordings; and
  • channels: each channel's name, its Channel text reference (the words you write that apply to every video in the channel), and the image references, voice references, videos and ideas you add to it.

Payment information. You pay on Stripe's secure checkout page, and Stripe collects your card details. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe sends us:

  • your email address;
  • a Stripe customer ID;
  • what you bought; and
  • whether the payment went through.

We also keep copies of the payment messages Stripe sends us. These can include billing details you gave Stripe, such as the name on your card and your billing postal code and country.

If you dispute a charge or get a refund, Stripe sends us the details, and we keep them with our billing records. Dispute details can include the cardholder's name, billing address, and information about the dispute.

Records of your agreement. Which version of our Terms, this policy, and our subscription terms you agreed to, and when. When you agree to our Terms and this policy, we also record your IP address and your browser type (its "user agent"). When you tick the automatic renewal box before paying, we record the time, your browser type, and a scrambled code made from your IP address.

Messages to us. When you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write or attach. When you use Send feedback in the app, we keep your message with your account, your email address, the part of the app you sent it from, and any screenshot you add.

2.2 What we make for you

Your inputs above, plus the following, are "your content":

  • AI-made video clips and images, including any older visual idea sheets (sets of AI images that showed idea options) still in your library;
  • VoiceOver audio (the AI voice reading your script), AI voices you generate from a description, AI music, captions, and the word timings used to place captions;
  • idea text, clip prompts (the detailed instructions our AI writes from your words), and post titles, descriptions, and hashtags; and
  • finished reels, projects (a reel you are putting together from clips), saved versions, and preview images taken from your videos.

2.3 Information we collect automatically

Sign-in records. Supabase records when you sign in. For each signed-in session, it also records your IP address and your browser and device type.

Server logs. Every request to DailyReels passes through our host, Vercel. Vercel keeps short-lived logs that include your IP address, your browser type, and the page or action requested. On our current plan, these logs are kept for about one day.

Crash reports. When something breaks on DailyReels, on our servers or in your browser, we send a crash report to Sentry so we can fix it. A report holds the error message, where in our code it happened, the page path (without anything after a ? in the link), your browser type, and the time. We don't include your name, email address, account ID or IP address, and we blank out email addresses and codes that appear in error messages.

Which channel link brought you. If you arrive from one of our own channel links (for example dailyreels.ai/?from=keptfilming-yt), we count the visit for that link, and if you then create an account we note which link it came from. We store only the link's short name and daily totals. We don't record your IP address, browser details or anything else about the visit for this count.

Visits from our ads. If you arrive from one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, we keep a small cookie (dr_ad) with the click code Meta adds to the ad's link. If you create an account within 7 days, we use it to tell Meta about the sign-up (section 5.3).

Visitor counts. Our host Vercel counts page visits for us (Vercel Web Analytics). It records the page, the site that sent you, your country, and your device, browser and operating system type. It sets no cookies, and it doesn't keep your IP address or follow you across other sites. We see only totals.

Home page counts. On our home page we also count, as daily totals, how many people visit, the kind of site that sent them (for example, Instagram), and how many tap our main buttons (a plan, Start creating, or Sign in). To count each browser once a day, we keep a small note in your browser's storage. We don't record who you are or keep your IP address; we use it only for a moment to leave our own visits out of the count.

Credit and usage records. Each time you use something that costs credits, we record what you did (for example, "8-second video"), which AI model ran, the credits charged or restored, and when. We use this to bill you correctly and to show your balance.

Cookies and browser storage. See section 6.

2.4 What we don't collect

  • We don't ask for your phone number or home address.
  • We don't ask for access to your location, camera, microphone, or contacts.
  • We don't use device fingerprinting.
  • We don't buy information about you from data brokers or other companies.
  • DailyReels does not use face recognition. It does not create face or voice templates (sometimes called "faceprints" or "voiceprints") of real people.
  • We don't clone voices from recordings. Voices are our stock AI voices, AI voices you save from your own DailyReels clips, or synthetic voices you generate from a description, and you can't upload voice recordings. When a voiceover uses one of your saved voices, our AI provider makes a temporary voice file from that AI voice's sample to speak your script. DailyReels doesn't keep that file.

Please be careful with what you add. Photos and prompts can reveal personal details.

  • Don't add photos in which a real person can be recognized, including you.
  • Don't add photos of children.
  • Don't put sensitive information in your prompts or scripts. That includes ID numbers, card or bank numbers, health information, home addresses, and passwords (Terms, Section 10.6).

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Run your account. Sign you in, keep you signed in, and keep your library tied to you.

  • Make what you ask for. Send the right inputs to our AI providers (section 4), save the results, put your reel together, and add captions and music.

  • Handle payments and credits. Show credit prices, charge you through Stripe, add and restore credits, handle refunds and disputes, keep billing records, and prevent double charges.

  • Keep DailyReels safe.

    • Before your text goes to an AI provider, we check it automatically for some kinds of prohibited content, such as explicit sexual content and anything that sexualizes minors. This check may block a request. It doesn't make decisions with legal effects about you. If you think a block was a mistake, email support@dailyreels.ai.
    • Before we generate a video, image, song, voiceover or voice, we send your words to Anthropic (section 4) to check them, as a good-faith effort to block protected material such as real, famous people, characters a company owns, famous logos shown on their own or used as that brand's own ad, and real songs. If something is flagged, the request is refused and you're not charged. This check doesn't make decisions with legal effects about you.
    • Before an image you upload is used, we check it automatically for nudity or sexual content, graphic injury, people who can be recognized, characters a company owns, and famous logos shown on their own. Every uploaded image is checked, on every account. This check uses Anthropic (section 4) and may block the image. It doesn't make decisions with legal effects about you.
    • We also use our records to look into abuse and fraud and to enforce our Terms.
    • Some AI providers run their own safety checks too.
  • Help you. Answer your messages and fix problems with your account.

  • Keep the Service working and make it better. Review error and cost records to find and fix problems and to choose what to improve.

  • Send service emails. Sign-in links, and messages about your account, your purchases, or changes to our terms or this policy. You can't opt out of sign-in and account emails while you have an account.

  • Follow the law. Keep tax and accounting records, respond to lawful requests, and protect the rights and safety of our users, the public, and DailyReels.

What we don't do:

  • We don't sell your personal information.
  • We don't share it for targeted advertising (ads based on what you do on other sites and apps), with one exception: if you come from one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, we tell Meta about your sign-up and purchases (section 5.3). You can opt out.
  • We never train AI models on your content. This is a lasting promise.
  • We don't use your content in DailyReels marketing unless you give us permission for that piece of content.
  • We send marketing email only if you say yes, and every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe.

If we want to use personal information for a new purpose that is materially different from what this policy describes, we'll tell you first. We'll ask for your consent where the law requires it.

4. AI processing: where your content goes

DailyReels is built on AI tools made by other companies. Here is what that means for your information.

4.1 What we send, and to whom

When you use an AI feature, we send the content that job needs. We don't send your name or email address to AI providers.

When a provider needs to read one of your files, we give it a private link that expires within an hour. The link contains an internal account number that means nothing outside DailyReels.

fal.ai runs some of these models itself. For others, it passes your request to the company that made the model.

4.2 What AI providers keep

  • fal.ai keeps the inputs and outputs of each request, including any reference photos, for 30 days by default. It also keeps copies of the files it makes (clips, images, and audio) on its file servers, at unlisted web addresses. Anyone who has one of those addresses can open the file until fal deletes it. We don't share those addresses.
  • Anthropic deletes inputs and outputs within 30 days by default. If its safety systems flag a request, it may keep the inputs and outputs for up to 2 years and its safety scores for up to 7 years. It may keep data longer when the law requires it or to enforce its usage policy.
  • Google (Gemini API) keeps each Omni Flash request and the video it makes, because we ask it to store them so the next part of a longer video, or an Extend, can continue from the last one. Google keeps them for a period it sets, and its Gemini API terms say how it may use them.
  • Replicate deletes the inputs and outputs of each request (prompts, pictures, voice samples and the finished clip) about an hour after it finishes; we copy the clip to our private storage before then.
  • Model makers that fal or Replicate pass requests to handle data under their own terms.

Deleting something in DailyReels does not make providers delete their copies any sooner. Each provider removes them on its own schedule.

4.3 AI training

  • DailyReels does not train AI models on your content.
  • Anthropic's commercial terms say Anthropic may not train its models on content from its API customers. That includes what we send it.
  • We use Google's Gemini API on its paid tier. Google's Gemini API terms say that on the paid tier, Google doesn't use prompts or results to improve its products.
  • fal's terms let fal use anonymized or combined ("aggregated") data from use of its service, which can be based on what we send, for any lawful purpose. That includes developing its own products and AI models and sharing that data with others.

4.4 Safety checks and AI mistakes

  • AI providers may run automated safety checks on what we send, and may refuse a request. Our Terms explain what happens to your credits when that happens.
  • AI can get things wrong, and text it writes may be inaccurate. Please check your post text and captions before you publish.

5. Who we share information with

We share personal information only as this section describes.

5.1 Service providers

These companies help us run DailyReels. We share information with them so they can provide their services to us. Some of them also use information for their own purposes, under their own terms and privacy policies. For example, Stripe uses payment information to prevent fraud and meet its legal duties, Google runs its own sign-in page and sign-in script, and Anthropic, Google and fal keep some data for safety or to improve their own services (section 4).

We work with these kinds of companies: cloud hosting, storage and databases; sign-in; AI model providers; payments; email delivery; crash reporting and site monitoring; customer support tools; and an AI assistant that helps us run DailyReels. When we add or switch to another company of one of these kinds, we update the table below (and, for AI models, the AI providers page at dailyreels.ai/ai-providers) on the day it starts receiving information. Sharing information with a new kind of company is an important change under section 12.

5.2 Other times we share

  • When you choose to. Downloading or sharing sends the video file from your device to wherever you choose. What happens next is up to you and that app. DailyReels doesn't create or share public links to your videos. Our AI provider fal may keep copies of the files it makes at unlisted web addresses on its servers until it deletes them (section 4.2). We don't share those addresses.
  • Legal reasons. We may share information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order. We may also share it to protect the safety, rights, or property of any person or of DailyReels. Federal law requires us to report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and we will.
  • Professional advisers. We may share information with lawyers, accountants, and insurers, under a duty of confidentiality, when we need their help.
  • Business changes. If DailyReels changes hands, your information may move with it, for example in a merger, sale, or reorganization. The new owner must follow this policy, or give you notice of changes as section 12 describes.
  • With your permission. For anything else, we'll ask you first.

5.3 Our ads on Facebook and Instagram

We advertise DailyReels on Facebook and Instagram, which are run by Meta Platforms. If you tap one of those ads, come to DailyReels and create an account, our server sends Meta a message saying an account was created. If you buy a plan or credits within 28 days, it sends one more saying what you paid. Each message holds:

  • your email address and DailyReels account ID, scrambled (hashed) so they can't be read, which Meta uses to match the message to its own users;
  • your IP address and browser type when you signed up;
  • the click code Meta added to the ad's link; and
  • the time, and for a purchase, the amount.

We never send your name, your prompts, your images or your videos. Meta's code doesn't run on our pages, and we don't tell Meta about people who come from anywhere else. Meta uses these messages to count which ads lead to sign-ups and to show our ads to people more likely to sign up, under its own terms and privacy policy. Some state laws may call this "sharing" for targeted advertising. This applies only to accounts created on or after October 24, 2026.

Opting out. We don't send these messages when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. You can also email support@dailyreels.ai and ask us to stop, and we'll stop for your account.

6. Cookies and browser storage

We use only first-party cookies and browser storage. Most are needed for DailyReels to work. One, dr_from, lets us count which of our own channel links brought a visit (section 2.3); it is set only when you arrive from one of those links and is never shared with anyone. Another, dr_ad, is set only when you arrive from one of our Facebook or Instagram ads (section 5.3). We don't use third-party advertising or analytics cookies, or tracking pixels. Our pages don't load scripts from advertising or analytics companies. The visitor counter in section 2.3 is part of our host Vercel and sets no cookies. Our home page counts (section 2.3) keep a small note in your browser's storage, never a cookie.

Google's sign-in script. Our sign-in page loads a script from Google (accounts.google.com) so the "Sign in with Google" button can open Google's sign-in window. It loads when the page opens, even if you sign in with email instead. When it loads, Google receives your IP address, browser details and the address of our sign-in page, and your browser sends Google any cookies Google has already set, for example if you're signed in to a Google account. Google handles that under its own privacy policy. No other page on DailyReels loads it.

Cookies on dailyreels.ai

Browser storage on your device. We also save some things in your browser's local storage and session storage so the app works smoothly:

  • Your unfinished reel (your draft in the Studio, the screen where you put a reel together), so you can pick up where you left off. It stays on that device until you clear it, even after you sign out.
  • Short-term details that last only until you close the tab: actions in progress (so you aren't charged twice), an idea you chose to turn into a clip, and the video you picked to write a post for.

This storage is kept separately for each account on that device. If you use a shared or public device, clear this site's data in your browser settings when you're done.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, you won't be able to stay signed in.

Other companies' pages. Stripe's checkout and billing pages and Google's and Facebook's sign-in pages set their own cookies under their own policies.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. DailyReels doesn't track you across other sites. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request to opt out: when your browser sends one, we don't tell Meta about your sign-up or purchases (section 5.3). Apart from that and Google's sign-in script on our sign-in page (above), no other company gets information about your activity on DailyReels for its own use.

7. How long we keep information

Below is how long we keep each kind of information. A few records don't have an end date yet. The table says so, and we'll update this policy when we set one.

Backups. Deleted information may remain in backup copies for up to 30 days, until those copies are replaced. Deleted media files may stay recoverable in Google Cloud Storage for up to 7 days.

We may keep information longer when the law requires it, to resolve a dispute, or to deal with fraud or abuse.

8. Your choices and rights

8.1 For every DailyReels user

Wherever you live in the U.S., you can:

  • See your content in the app, along with your credit balances.

  • Get a copy of the personal information we hold about you.

  • Fix information that's wrong.

  • Delete content. You can delete clips, projects, channels, ideas, and photos you uploaded in the app. Deleting a channel removes its name, its Channel text reference and its list of references. The videos, images, voices and ideas in it are kept until you delete them or your account. A clip used in a project can be deleted only after you delete the project. A clip that is still being made can be deleted once it finishes. To delete AI-made images, voice takes, or saved voices, email us.

  • Delete your account. Open your account page and tap Delete account. We email you a link, and your account is deleted when you tap it and confirm. You can also email us and ask. Deleting your account cancels your plan and refunds the top-up credits you paid for and haven't used. Before you do, download anything you want to keep. Once your account is deleted, your content is gone and can't be recovered. Our Terms explain what happens to unused credits.

We finish deleting your account within 30 days after you confirm the request.

After we delete your account, we keep only what section 7 says we keep, such as billing records. AI provider copies expire on their own schedules (section 4.2).

  • Disconnect Google. You can remove DailyReels from the third-party connections in your Google Account. This doesn't delete your DailyReels account.

  • Control cookies in your browser (section 6).

Where to send requests. Email support@dailyreels.ai with the subject "Privacy".

How fast we respond. We'll confirm we got your request within 10 business days, and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, up to another 45 days, we'll tell you why.

Providers' copies. When we delete your information at your request, we also ask the service providers that hold a copy we can find to delete it, where their service lets us. Otherwise their copies expire on their own schedules (section 4.2).

Records of requests. We keep a record of each privacy request and how we answered it for 24 months.

How we confirm it's you. To protect your account, when we get a request we send a confirmation to the email address on your account. We act only after you confirm from that inbox. We may ask for more information if something doesn't match. DailyReels doesn't use passwords, and we'll never ask for your Google password.

Someone acting for you. Another person can make a request for you if you give them signed, written permission. We may still confirm the request with you directly.

No penalty. We won't charge you more, give you a worse service, or treat you differently for using these rights.

8.2 Extra rights in some states

Several states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, and Virginia, give residents specific privacy rights. Depending on the state, these can include the right to:

  • access, correct, or delete personal information, or get a portable copy of it; and
  • opt out of its sale, its use for targeted advertising, or certain kinds of profiling.

Most of these laws apply only to businesses above a certain size, and they may not cover DailyReels yet. Either way, every user gets the rights in section 8.1.

  • Sale, targeted advertising, and profiling. We don't sell your information or use it for profiling. Telling Meta about sign-ups and purchases from our ads (section 5.3) may count as sharing for targeted advertising. You can opt out with Global Privacy Control or by emailing support@dailyreels.ai.
  • Sensitive information. We don't sell it, and we don't use it to infer things about you.
  • Appeals. If we turn down your request, reply to our answer and ask us to reconsider. We'll respond within 45 days. If you still disagree, you can contact your state attorney general.
  • California "Shine the Light." We don't share personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing.
  • Nevada. We don't sell covered information.

9. How we protect information

  • Connections to DailyReels are encrypted (HTTPS).

  • Your media is kept in private cloud storage. Videos stored with us play in the app only after we check that they belong to you.

  • When an AI provider needs to read one of your files, we give it a temporary link that expires within an hour.

  • Our database is set up so that each customer can reach only their own records.

  • Secret keys stay on our servers, never in your browser.

  • Card details go only to Stripe.

  • Inside DailyReels, only people who help run the Service can access your information, and only when needed for support, safety, billing, fixing problems and improving the Service, or legal reasons. Today that is only the owner, working with the AI assistant described below.

  • We use an AI assistant from Anthropic (Claude) to help build and run DailyReels. When it helps with support, a problem, or a billing question, it may see the information that task needs. Anthropic handles that information under the terms of the Claude plan we use.

DailyReels doesn't use passwords. You sign in with an email link or with Google, so please keep your email account secure.

No system is perfectly secure. We can't promise that information will never be accessed, lost, or changed without permission. If a data breach affects your personal information, we'll notify you and any required authorities as the law requires, including Idaho's breach notice law.

10. Adults only

DailyReels is only for people who are 18 or older, are legal adults where they live, and are in the United States. It is not meant for children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

If we learn that someone under 18 has an account, we'll close it and delete their information, except anything the law requires us to keep. If the birth date given at sign-up is under the adult age, we delete the account right away and keep nothing from that answer. If you think a child has used DailyReels, email support@dailyreels.ai with the subject "Privacy".

11. United States only

DailyReels is offered only to people in the United States. Our database, media storage and hosting are in the United States.

Some AI providers and model makers, and Stripe, may process data in other countries where they or their model makers operate.

If you access DailyReels from outside the U.S. anyway, your information will be processed in the U.S. Privacy laws here may differ from the laws where you are.

12. Changes to this policy

  • When we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and version number. Past versions are available on request: email support@dailyreels.ai.
  • For important changes, we'll email you or show a notice in the app at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Important changes include using your information in a new way, sharing it with a new kind of company, or giving it less protection. If a change is required by law or needed right away for security, we'll tell you as soon as we can.
  • We won't start using information we already have in a materially different way without your consent. That includes training AI models on it or sharing it for advertising.

13. How this policy relates to our Terms

This policy explains our practices. It is not a contract. Our Terms of Service govern your use of DailyReels.
